Optical Appearance:
Kanan
Issui
Overall Appearance: Akera's body is in rather good shape due to how active he is, even if he isn't personaly in control of his body during most of the stuff that happens, and is easily noticeable even in a crowd due to his flaming red hair and a thin bag carried around on his back wherever he goes. Whenever in control of his body, he tends to look, act and sound more like a normal highschool student, his hair slightly messy and haphazardly arranged while his eyes are their normal dark violet color. His skin tone is tanned and healthy looking, his shoulders, legs and back being lighter than the rest of his body, and he has only one scar on his body, a cross-shaped mark etched into his skin on his left side that is centered on his waist.
His body is well toned, Akera able to excell at physical activites in his school and in doing so keep himself in shape, but is only able to use around half of his full potential and capabilities. His hair mostly covers the ends of his ears, mainly the pointed ends on them, and is long enough that if it was straightened, it would almost be able to cover one whole side of his face.
Whenever Kanan is in control of the body, his eyes change from dark violet to a pale blue, and the hair color seems to brighten up some while gaining a slightly golden tint to the ends. The hairstyle changes as well, Kanan brushing it with his hands to where it seems to flow from the right side of his head to the left, and the golden tint to the ends of his hair makes it take on a flame-like appearance when it's windy enough.
Whenever Issui is in control, his hair seems to grow longer and become naturally straightened, and it is normally swept over his right eye, leaving the left one uncovered. The color of his hair becomes darker, now being a crimson shade, and his eye color lightens to a very pale violet, almost appearing to be a bright silver.
Whenever Raiu is in control, very little changes, and in fact the biggest change would be that his eye color becomes a bright yellow instead of dark violet. The hairstyle becomes even more wild and unruly, he becomes extremely conductive towards static electricity and shocks people when his bare skin touches them on accident, and he constantly fidgets around in some manner, be it tapping his fingers or spinning something around in his hand. Whenever he gets serious, however, Raiu brushes his hair straight back with his hands while a few strands fall back over his forehead, his eyes becoming cold and emotionless while lightning crackles around his hands and torso every few seconds.
Apparel/Armor: Akera/Raiu: Akera and Raiu both wear very similar styles of clothing, the highschool uniform or a pair of blue jeans with a black t-shirt, and if control of the body was to switch out between one of them in the middle of the day, they normally wear the same pair of clothes that either Kanan of Issui had put on.
The school uniform in the summer, as Akera attends a year-round scool, consists of a white button-up shirt with a red tie, a pair of gray dress pants, a black belt, and black socks and shoes. The white shirt has a pocket on the left side, his pants have the two side pockets, and carried around on his back is normally a wrapped up Shinai or Bokuto, due to his being a member of the Kendo club.
The winter uniform is more plain, black pants, a white undershirt and a black windbreaker worn over his torso, and on the collar of the blazer is the symbol of his highscool. When wearing either uniform, his bag is carried around in his left hand and his sword is normally worn on his right shoulder, and he normally has the windbreaker closed when going to school, though if it gets warm enough Akera opens it.
Kanan: Kanan has a different style than Akera and Issui, to a small extent at least, but has similarities that show the three are all the same person to a certain degree. Kanan prefers wearing black jeans with no design on them, a necklace that consists of a light blue crystal with a black thread tied to the metal cap on one end, and a black, long-sleeved shirt and jacket.
The jacket is the same kind worn by the earlier Western biker gangs, Kanan wearing it unzipped all the time, and as such his numerous belts, shirt and necklace are visible most of the time. Kanan wears four belts around his waist at one time, none of them going through the belt loops, and they consist of two reddish brown belts, a light brown belt with holes down the center, and a black belt with metal ovals and dots down the center. The two brown belts have meal on them as well, the top one having four metal rectangles on the section above his waist, while the second one has a long line of metal studs down the center on his left side with two smaller ones on the front.
Kanan wears three rings on his right hand and two on his left, leaving the pointer finger and thumb unadorned while the index and ring fingers on both hands have at least one ring on them, and his left hand has a ring around his pinky. The rings are all silver in color, the ones on his right hand consisting of a band of silver with a line of small, oval rubies while the second ring on that index finger is a simple band with a decent sized onyx in the center, and the second ring is simply a larger version of the band, appearing similar to a crown with an onyx ring at the bottom and four triangular rubies at the top. The ring around his left pinky is the same as the band on his right hand, while his right ring finger has a simple silver band without any stones in it.
Issui: Issui wears clothes that fall in between Akera and Kanan's styles, the oddest part of his attire being that he wears dark red pants rather than blue or black jeans, and like Kanan he wears a necklace, a circular ruby set into a gold pendent on the end of a small length of rope. He wears black shoes, white socks, a white t-shirt, and a black hoody that is always open.
The hoody appears to be two sizes too large for Issui, his sleeves having been pushed up around his wrists while the bottom of the hoody reaches nearly halfway down his thighs, and it hangs loosely around his torso, leaving his white undershirt almost fully uncovered while staying on at the shoulders. Issui rarely wears the hood, leaving his head uncovered even during rainstorms due to his ability to keep the water from touching him, but he still pulls it over his head if it turns into any other sort of storm, not being able to redirect snow, sleet or hail away from his skin.
The red pants have two pockets in them, one on each side of Issui's waist, and are form fitting around his hips while staying the same size down to the end of each pants leg. A silver belt is worn through the loops around his waist constantly, a white belt that has a line of cross marks all the way similar to the scar on his stomach, and the belt buckle is made out of solid silver, the design on the front being a cross while the edging is a white rectangle with one-fourth of a circle in each corner.
A Warriors Spirit:
Name Of Martial arts: Akera: Kendo
Kanan: Amatsu Kaen no Kamisama (Heavenly Flame God)
Issui: Makai Furishikiru (Hell's Downpour)
Raiu: 'Life Wisher' and 'Free Running'
Fighting Art Appearance: Akera: Akera mostly uses a weapon of some sort when fighting, mostly the bamboo/wooden sword he carries around with him, but unlike two of his alter personalities, he doesn't enjoy fighting in the slightest, seeing unregulated fights as barbaric and idiotic. He loves fighting in Kendo matches however, having a love for the sport that rivals Kanan's ego and Issui's sociopathic nature, and never passes up a challenge directed at him from another swordsman, finding swordfighting to be much less barbaric than fist fighting.
Akera is rather skilled with a sword when compared to the rest of the club, but possesses little to no skill at fighting without one, and as such he is rather easy to beat once his weapon is removed from his hands. Due to this, he always carries a wooden or bamboo sword with him and is rather fast at drawing it from the bag. He is able to use anything that has a similar shape as a weapon, such as a metal pole or even a broom stick, and is able to deflect solid objects if they're moving slow enough, having become rather skilled at following high-speed objects due to Raiu.
His stance when fighting is the traditional starting stance for Kendo matches, his right foot being slid forward and having his weight one it while his left is slid back some for balance, and he holds the weapon he's using at the time out in front of him with the tip of the object leaned towards his enemy. Akera has a relaxed appearance when using Kendo, either wearing a thin smile or a serious gaze when facing an opponent, and his movements flow together naturally with few sudden or rough motions.
Kanan: Despite the name, Kanan's style of fighting has nothing to do with Fire or Flames, and is only named such due to his elemental chi being Fire and that he uses it to heat up his body and the air around him. He fights in an odd way, avoiding his enemy's attacks and then hitting them when they're trying to recover from their momentum carrying them forward after their attack misses, and he is rather skilled at evading attacks aimed at himself.
Kanan, being the only persona able to draw out all of Akera's physical strength, is the 'strongest' of the four personalities, and uses his strength in a fight with little inhibitation, not holding back whenever he throws a punch or kick. The speed and motions of his punches are similar to a less fixed style of boxing, Kanan able to strike faster with his left hand while his right hand, being the dominant one, has a stronger punch and jab. Kanan never uses weapons against an unarmed opponent, seeing it as an unfair advantage that would make himself look bad if others witnessed it, but won't keep himself from using a weapon if attacked by an opponent who is also using one and is also skilled with it.
His stance is mostly relaxed and natural, his right hand held back near his face in a fist while his left is open and held near his waist, and Kanan-Akera's body is turned so his left shoulder is the closest to his enemy while looking in the same direction, most often with a confident and cocky smile on his face.
Issui: Issui, unlike Kanan, uses a mostly reactionary style of fighting that is still rather brutal and violent, even when compared to Kanan's inability to hold back when fighting. When someone attacks him, Issui will either avoid or divert the attack away from himself and then grab whoever attacked him, if they're close enough, and pay them back in kind with a throw of some sort. His favorite counter-attack involves flipping them over his shoulder and slamming them into the ground repeatedly, even bouncing them off walls if they are close enough, and does so until they stop moving and talking, having a rather bad tempted and being extremely vindictive once angered.
When fighting, he rarely ever uses punches, using his hands to grab his enemy and throw them into the ground or into nearby walls, but will still kick his opponent after grabbing them if he can't throw them without injuring them first. When using his kicks, Issui either aims to knock the wind out of his opponent or to simply make them lose their balance in some way, and as such either aims for the stomach, the knees, or the groin of his enemy.
His Throws vary in strength depending on how much he wants to hurt his current enemy, and though Issui is unable to use as much physical strength as Kanan, he still being stronger than Akera and Raiu, and is able to throw an enemy hard enough to leave an imprint or a crater in the object the person hits. Issui's kicks are much more normal, about as strong as if Akera were to kick someone at full force, and can, at best, make a rather large bruise or crack a few ribs if it hits the right spot. As a result, Issui aims mostly for the joints and weaker points of a person's body, suck as the neck, stomach and groin, and he is even more likely to break an enemy's limb than Kanan is in order to win a fight.
Issui never uses his violent and brutal counters when in the presence of women, however, due to his womanizing nature and the desire to be popular among them, and instead will hold back greatly when using his throws, even using simple joint-locks to great effeciency rather than the more complex ones that end in broken bones and dislocated joints.
The stance used by the 'water' persona is simple and basic, all of his weight placed on his left foot while his right is stretched a few feet in front of him, and his hands are held out towards his opponent, his right hand closer due to his body being turned so his right side is facing his enemy.
Issui rarely uses his Chi when fighting, mostly using it to keep water from landing on him when it rains or to counteract other Water-aligned elemental Chi users, and it has little offensive uses during a fight.
Raiu: Raiu is the physically weakest of the four personalities, but he is also the fastest, and makes up for his lack of strength by being able to strike and move nearly twice as fast as the others. If Raiu fights for too long, he overexerts the shared body and makes the major joints(the knees, hips, elbows and shoulders) extremely sore, as well as making both Kanan and Issui fight worse due to their shared body being weakened.
When Raiu fights, he mostly uses rapid jabs that are all aimed at the same spots throughout the fight, adding to the damage slightly with every hit rather than landing one very damaging punch, and he rarely stands still when fighting, constantly ducking and weaving around his enemy. Raiu is barely a better fighter than Akera, is weaker than all of them due to his being unable to take a punch and ignore it in the same manner that Issui or Kanan could, and as a result of these two facts, he tends to avoid fights rather than start them.
If forced to fight, Raiu tries to hold back as much as he can when throwing his puches, as he is easily able of killing someone if he were to hit the wrong spot with a full speed and force punch, and mainly tries to just disable his enemy's movement or at least tire them out enough that they give up.
Raiu's lack of interest in fighting is shown in his Chi ability, Kashira no Raikou (Head of Lightning), by the fact that it simply increases his physical abilities to superhuman levels, allowing him to run faster than a normal person for twice as long, as well as see and react to threats at a faster speed. He can only use the ability three times a day, but after using it the maximum number of times, he has to wait an entire day to use it again, as his body would be permanently injured if used past the current limit.
If forced into a fight that he can't escape from and that the enemy won't give up, or if they're so determined to fight him that running away would insult both of them, Raiu goes full force and aims for the vital spots on the human torso, using a flat hand to stab at the area below the ribs while using a fist and rapid kicks against the rib cage itself, and when going full force, he has trouble stopping himself at the end of the fight, the adrenaline making his body react on primal instinct alone. His leg strength is the highest among the four personalities, able to dent a metal plate easily, and as such he rarely uses kicks unless in a life-or-death fight, not wanting to kill his enemy by accident.
When Raiu has to go all out in a fight that he can neither escape from nor end in a safe manner, he has a single move that he uses as a last resort only against an enemy trying to kill him, the move that gave his martial arts style its name. The 'Life wisher' move is simple in concept but is nearly impossible to pull off with the normal capabilities of a human body, and as a result of this, Raiu is the only one of the four personalities who can use it.
Raiu normally uses the move when his enemy is off the ground, and as such needs to get the enemy airborne in some manner, be it them jumping into the air or him kicking them hard enough to knock them straight up, and after that he leaps directly at them with his full speed, using the 'Kashira no Raikou' to enable his body to perform the 'life wisher' safely. After reaching the enemy, Raiu simply kicks them at a superhuman speed from either just the front or from every angle, depending on the place the fight is taking place at, and if the enemy ends up against the ceiling, they have a high chance of becoming embedded in the material from the force of the kicks, even if it's made of metal.
'Life wisher' can be used while the enemy is on the ground to, but has a higher chance of causing permanent injury to either Raiu or the enemy, as the attack causes parts of the body to move suddenly after a blow lands on them, and when on the ground, incidents such as every part of the afflicted person being spun around except for their right leg are much more likely to occur than if they were airborne. The attack leaves Raiu unable to move for a few seconds after he stops moving, normally after landing, and as such is used only as a last ditch effort to beat the enemy, the move being usable once ever few days as it places a lot of stress on his body.
Weapons: Akera: Akera has basic swordsmanship abilities, being a member of the kendo club at his school, and as such constantly carries around a bamboo or wooden sword. When fighting with the sword, Akera only aims for the head, torso and arms of his enemy, a habit deceloped due to Kendo matches having that as the criteria for winning the match, and he is able to knock out someone if he hits them with a directly blow to the head with a full force swing. The size of the shinai and the bokuto are the same; 28.7 inches, almost two and a half feet.
Kanan, Issui, Raiu: N/A
Chi Type: Elemental
Chi Abilities:
Basic abilities:
Akera: N/A
Kanan: He is able to create flames on any part of his body without burning himself and is able to manipulate the heat around himself to a certain degree, but only up to a distance of four inches.
Issui: Able to keep water from coming into contact with his skin, Issui can control water to a basic degree as long as it is within half a foot of his body.
Raiu: Able to generate electricity in the same way that Kanan can create flames. He has a higher capacity for static charge as a result, and can create a charge of electricity around his fists or feet that can vary from being extremely painful to hurting as much as a light punch on the shoulder.
Unique abilities:
Akera: N/A
Kanan: Hinote Bakugekiki (Blaze bomber) - Kanan focuses his chi into his knuckles, his hand being covered in fire from the knuckle joints to his elbow with his thumb and fingers being uncovered, and the fire leaves his clothing unharmed while on his arm. After his next punch from the flame-covered hand lands on his enemy, the fire rushes towards the contact point and vanishes for less than a single second, and after vanishing, the fire then explodes outward with enough force to knock a car away from Kanan.
The damage of the attack is not physically destructive by nature, in fact it doesn't increase the punching strength of the man at all, but rather it exposes the impacted target to high amounts of heat. If used on an inanimate object, such as a concrete wall, the fire spreads outwards rather than attempting to push the object away from Kanan, and the heat created is high enough to scorch concrete black from a contact time of less than two seconds.
The ability is usable up to ten times a day, the flames are equivalent to a flamethrower in heat, and can be used with either or Kanan's hands.
Issui: N/A
Raiu: Kashira no Raikou (Head of Lightning) - Doubles Raiu's physical capabilities to superhuman levels, allowing him to either escape a situation or to get somewhere in time. Useable three times a day with a single day break after used the maximum number of times, and only lasts for a few minutes at the longest(five post maximum). Boosts eyesight to twice it's normal capability and increases his reaction time to match, allowing him to even dodge bullets if he sees the gun.
When using this ability, bright yellow lightning crackles across parts his body every few seconds, and causes his hair to spike back. His jumping height is increased from four feet to being able to leap to the top of a building from a crouching start, his running speed is to the point that he could run a mile in around three minutes, and his reaction time and movement speed is, as mentioned before, high enough that he can dodge bullets if he can see the direction the gun barrel is pointing.

Inner Self:
Personality:
Akera: The most normal personality of the four, Akera is a simple highschool student that has an above-average talent and love for Kendo, he is kind to others and constantly puts their needs above his own, and he has little time for any hobby other than Kendo. The man sees fist-fighting and normal martial arts as barbaric and idiotic, seeing weapon-based martial arts and tournaments based around them to be much more noble and enjoyable than simply hitting the other person until they give up, and as such he has to deal with a small amount of grief from Kanan and Issui about it.
Akera has one thing that sets him apart from others, despite that his body contains the equivalent of four people in split personalities, and that is that he has no memory of anything that happened to him before the year 2011, but rather than let it affect him, Akera has accepted his amnesia and isn't bothered if anyone mentions it.
The man is constantly helping people with their problems, unable to just watch someone have something troubling them and leave them be and thus learning most of the names and faces of people at his school as a result, and has a reputation as 'the many-faced nice guy' among his classmates, as all four personalities treat most of the students nice with the exception of Issui and the delinquints.
Akera refuses to fight someone one-on-one without both of them using weapons, being skilled enough to avoid most attacks from the delinquints in his school, and has a great deal of confidence in his abilities to fight with a Shinai or bokuto, but despite his confidence, Akera is still able to accept defeat when the deciding factor was skill, speed or strength. Being beaten by a cheap trick or by being outnumbered, however, is something he can't accept easily, and will challenge the person repeatedly until they agree to a second fight.
Kanan: The most arrogant of the four personalities, Kanan, constantly refers to himself as 'the great I' rather than calling himself 'I' like normal people, and can be annoyed and angered easily just by saying he's below someone else in anything he does. The man is extremely protective of his friends, even to the point of starting a fight over a small insult stated by anyone near or older than them, but despite this he seems to care little if anyone insults him personally, having the uncanny ability to accept that it's simple jealousy caused by his 'greatness.'
Kanan is a very sociable person that loves to be the center of attention, being extremely talented in athletics and academics, and as a result constantly goes out of his way to praise himself and do even better, practically feeding off of the attention being received. However, this personality trait is a double-edged sword, as in actuality Kanan has very low self-esteem, constantly needing to reassure himself that he can do just as much as any other person, and if people were to ignore him for too long, the man has a breakdown of some sort, normally trying to lock himself up in the house for days on end while Raiu and Akera try to cheer him up.
The fire element of his chi, oddly enough, doesn't reflect on his normal personality at all, as rather than being a hot-head or someone that reacts entirely on instincts, Kanan acts the part of a calm and collected person when the situation calls for it, being quite intelligent despite his attention gathering manner of acting.
Kanan rarely tries to start a fight intentionally, though his constantly praising himself when someone else tries to have a decent conversation does get on peoples' nerves, and treats most people kindly and fairly, rarely if ever getting angry. However, when he does get mad, Kanan doesn't simply threaten people or raise his voice, rather his anger becomes visible by the fact that flames begin to appear on his body, the man having an explosive temper when pushed far enough due to his bottling up all of his annoyance until it reaches the breaking point.
Issui: Easily the most diverse of the four personalities, Issui changes the way he speaks, the way his voice sounds, and even the expression on his face depending on whether or not he is speaking with or near a girl he finds attractive, and can go from the farthest extremes of kindness and flattery to the deepest depths of violence and destruction in a single heartbeat.
When speaking near or directly to a woman he is interested in, Issui has a respectful, calm, kind and trustworthy voice, a thin and warm smile is normally present on his face, and he rarely disagrees with someone unless they're obviously wrong. However, when speaking to only a man or to a girl he dislikes or has no interest in, his voice and expression both change drastically. His tone gains a harsh edge to it and loses its kind tone, becoming insulting and mocking, and his smile either becomes a wide and sadistic grin or it vanishes completly, his visible eye losing all compassion normally seen.
Issui is the easiest one of the four personalities to anger and also the best at making others enraged, surpassing even Kanan and his 'higher than thou' mindset, and as a result he picks fights easily when talking around only men, even going to the 'main base' of small groups of thugs just to see how many he can start a fight with in a minute. Oddly enough, though, Issui still cares about Akera's well being more than the other two do, and is the main one that tries to comfort him when something happens, a stark contrast to his normal attitude.
The crimson-headed teen is easily the most violent and brutal, taking an immense amount of happiness in causing massive physical harm to other people, but he is also the one with the highest craving for attention from every attractive girl at Akera's highschool and in the city he lives in, and as such is a skilled womanizer, capable of taking up to four girls out at one time without causing any fights to break out among the four.
Due to his womanizer traits, Issui never actually fights at his best when in the presence of women, holding back greatly when throwing people and sometimes even using a simple joint lock on them, though it grates on his nerves if he has to do it for too long. However, he found a way around this due to the size of the city and the amount of pathways between buildings; when anyone tries to start a fight, he either leads them down the alley or accepts the offer to 'talk' out of sight, having the girl(s) stay near the entrance to the alley, and then takes care of the men while in the alley, normally embedding them upside down into one of the alleyway walls.
Raiu: Raiu has the least impressive personality among the four, as well as having the least social, and would rather spend his time in the house than anywhere else. Raiu is lazy, cowardly, and has an obsession with reading manga and playing games all day long rather than doing anything else.
If given a the option to have anything he wanted in the world, Raiu would have little hesitation to say one simply phrase; 'an unlimited amount of money.' The reason is not that he's greedy or anything like that, it's just that with an unlimited amount of money, Raiu would be able to purchase a decent house to live in, never have to worry about being unable to afford having food delivered to the house, and he would be able to buy all the manga and games he could ever want. That is Raiu's idea of a perfect world.
Despite his Chi element being Lightning, Raiu is by far the laziest of the three spirits, and only leaves the 1LDK apartment that Akera rents to either buy food, buy or rent a new game or to browse through the new manga releases at his favorite store. Whenever he goes out of the apartment, Raiu shows his athletic talent easily, not bothering to walk down the street and instead going to the roof of the apartment and leaping from building to building until reaching the desired location.
Raiu, like Kanan, values having friends, but only to the point of doing them favors and hanging out with them, rarely going out of his way to spend time with them or help solve their problems in the way that Kanan and Akera do. However, this doesn't mean he'll do nothing if one of his friends gets into serious trouble, and those times are some of the few moments that Raiu shows any form of courage. When fighting to help or protect his friends, Raiu changes from the lazy coward he normally is to a rather skilled fighter that resembles Kanan greatly, and during these moments he combs his hair straight back with a few bangs hanging back down over his forehead, keeping his hair out of his eyes so he has the best sight possible at the moment.

The Journey Begins Here!!![/b]
History: Ten years are missing from Akera's life. Ten years he cannot remember or recall in the slightest. His first memory is waking up in a hospital with most of his body bandadged up, most of his ribs broken and his body missing a good portion of blood, and for several weeks he was unable to do anything but lay still and recieve treatment and medication for the pain, his mind feeling as if it was covered by a thick fog.
After leaving the hospital, Akera was put into foster care and was placed in a normal house, ending up being the younger brother of a third year highschool student, but he never said a single word. Instead, the boy would just nod or shake his head or write down what he was thinking. This led to problems in school, as no one had informed one of his teachers about his mute nature, and the teacher had hounded him for a good half hour for an answer before finally just making him stay after class for a meeting.
Akera snapped during the meeting, the teacher insulting his intelligence after the boy still refused to answer, and punched the teacher as hard as he could in the nose, knocking him out of the chair. The boy ran out of the school and back to his house, running to his room and locking himself inside for the rest of the day, and no amount of persuasion from anyone in his foster family could change his mind.
However, when he woke up the next morning, Akera had an interesting surprise waiting for him; a small, chibified version of himself was floating in the air in front of his face, dressed exactly like him but with a different hairstyle and eye color. The two stared at each other for a few seconds, Akera blinking his eyes and making sure he was awake by pinching his own cheek, and he looked at the small being with a look of shock and disbelief on his face.
The being raised its right hand up and gave a joking salute, saying 'yo' and gaining a large smile over its face, but rather than calm Akera or even receive the same reaction from the boy, Akera laid back down and rolled over, almost silently muttering something about seeing things. The being, however, didn't accept that. When Akera opened his eyes, he saw that the positions had been switched, and he was looking at himself sitting up and getting out of bed. The person controlling his body introduced himself as Kanan, tried to explain to Akera that they were the same person in a sense, but all he got in return was a stony silence that lasted throughout the day, Kanan finally giving up and ignoring Akera in return.
Throughout the entire day, people were absolutely shocked by the sudden change in Akera's personality; the boy had gone from being silent, antisocial and unfriendly to being the most talkative person in the class that seemed to thrive off of people paying attention to him. Oddly enough, however, no one seemed to be bothered by it at all, and in fact people seemed to enjoy being around Kanan, something that the man told Akera after they got back to his house. His foster family was overjoyed that 'Akera' had finally opened up to them, Kanan glancing at Akera with a knowing smirk as they left the room, and as soon as they were alone, Kanan tried speaking to him again, stating the obvious fact that his family had been worried about him because of his refusal to talk to them or interact with them in any way.
The next day Akera was in control, Kanan simply floating around his head throughout the day rather than taking control of the body again, and the boy tried to act in a manner similar to Kanan, talking some and making a few friends. From then on until they moved up to highschool, Kanan and Akera would occasionally switch places, though the fact that Kanan was much more of a show-off made it embaressing sometimes for the latter to go to school the next day.
This happened until Akera's foster brother died in what was labeled as a horrible car wreck. A wreck had happened that same day, around the same time he had actually died, but Akera and Kanan were unable to believe that he had been in the wreck, having been told by the deceased that he was going to another city by airplane the day before the wreck happened on the highway.
The day after the funeral was when the second being appeared to Akera, the teen responding to it much better than when Kanan had showed up, but he was still shocked to see a second person floating in front of him that looked like a mirror image of himself. The being introduced himself as Raiu, floating over to the bookshelf and looking at the titles to see if there were any manga, and once that failed the being floated over to the tv, looking at the stack of games next to it to see if there were any he wanted to play.
Raiu did very little after showing up, spending most of his time sleeping on Akera's head, but one day Akera woke up to see that Raiu had taken control of the body, going to school like normal rather than playing games unlike what Akera had assumed he would do. The new personality, Raiu, was similar to how Akera had been after first waking up in the hospital, but unlike Akera, Raiu would speak to a few people and showed an interest in what the teacher was saying.
While at school, Raiu imitated Akera and Kanan equally, doing well in the P.E. classes without standing out too much while also doing well in the more studious classes, but a trouble incident occured on the way home, a thug bumping into Raiu as they walked in opposite directions and taking it as an insult. The men prepared to extort or pummel Raiu, but rather than stand there or cower in fear, the youth yawned and tapped one of his shoes against the ground a few times, a crackling sound filling the air as he rubbed his hands together. Raiu pulled his hands apart as he crouched down, arcs of electricity crackling around his body, and he darted off at a speed that rivaled the fastest sprinter in his class, leaving the thugs where they were standing with a shocked look of disbelief covering their face.
Once at the house, Kanan and Akera vented their surprise in the simplest manner possible: demanding an answer from Raiu about what the hell he had just done. That was Akera and Kanan's first experience with Chi, Raiu having been able to use it since day one, and the latter constantly bugged Raiu until he explained how to use Chi in a practical way. Since then, Kanan would find ways to get time alone and try to use the Chi, and eventually he succeeded, but the downside was that he ended up igniting a tree in a small park on accident.
Time passed, Akera and the other two personalities settling into highschool life and further developing their individual personalities each time they switched control of the body, and eventually Akera was invited to try having a Kendo match after school, the teenager having started to watch their practices every few days before going home. The teenager caught on quickly, his reaction time and physical abilities being slightly higher than the normal due to Kanan and Raiu, and he found that he was having the most fun he'd ever had while he was in the sparring match, Akera signing up for the club the next day as a result.
Time went on normally again, Akera having set a deal for regaining control every day that they had practice for the Kendo team, but eventually he found himself becoming attracted to one of his classmates. However, the teen couldn't get the courage to talk to her by himself, and he forbade Kanan and Raiu from trying to talk to her in his place, threatening them with torture the next time one of them switched places with him. It was nearly the end of his Fourth year in his school when he finally decided to confess, but as he tried to say the words, they refused to come, and instead his mind went completely blank after he had gotten her attention.
This was when Issui arrived, switching with Akera instantly and excusing himself from the conversation for a quick second to change his hairstyle, and after coming back the final personality confessed to the girl in Akera's place, saying the line he had intended to say before freezing up. To Akera's surprise, the girl accepted, the one in control of his body smiling and asking if a specific time, date and place were fine, and to his even greater surprise, Akera was unable to force control of his body back to himself, something that hadn't happened since Kanan and Raiu had first appeared.
The new one, telling Akera and the other two his name, explained to them with thoughts rather than words, the three feeling like idiots for never having tried that themselves, and made it clear that he, not any of them, would be in control the day of the date, hiding his reason for wanting to do so however. The day came, Issui dressing up in his current style and arranging his hair to his liking, and he arrived at the meeting spot a few minutes early, hiding out of sight until the appropriate time to see just how the other person would arrive and act when not near the person she thought was Akera.
As soon as he saw her, Issui walked out into open view and hid himself nearby by standing behind a small group of people, still visible but not in a way that would make himself noticed by his date. He watched as she pulled out a cell phone, looking around presumably for Issui to make sure he wasn't coming or nearby, and she called someone while standing up and walking into the building Issui was leaning against, not even sparing him a second glance due to his little resemblance to Akera.
Issui followed her in, staying a few feet behind her so that he could still hear her but wouldn't be noticed, and his eyes narrowed as he heard most of her conversation, a small frown appearing on his face as he glanced at Akera and saw the expression covering his face. Issui tapped his 'date' on the shoulder instantly, shocking her some and causing her to turn around, and he re-introduced himself to her, still using Akera's name.
Issui's expression had become kind, his visible left eye partially closed and a warm smile on his face, but the expression was in stark contrast to his voice and the words being spoken, asking just who she was referring to with her comment about 'meeting an idiotic, red-headed freak in town.' He chuckled some as her face turned bright red, slowly leading her back out of the building and down a small alley with a fence stopping them a few yards in, and once there Issui dropped the nice act and showed what he was really feeling at the moment, anger and hatred.
Issui didn't physically injure the girl, he didn't touch her once, but when he left the alley and went on his way, what he had said to her had left the girl shaking and crying on the ground in front of the fence. On the way back to his house, Issui stopped at a convenience store and noted the 'help wanted' sign, taking it down and mentally checking how close the place was to any apartments in the area, and he applied for the position within seconds, still having said nothing to Akera, Kanan or Raiu about what had happened with the girl.
Once home, Issui explained to Akera what had happened and why he had taken control during the entire date, having figured out the day he had appeared that the girl Akera had started to like wanted nothing to do with him and was planning to shatter his heart in a rather scarring way, and as such he had done the same to her but in a worse manner, showing how much he worried about Akera even on day one. Issui also stated to Akera alone that he would help Akera get a real girlfriend even if it killed the four of them, forgetting to make sure his own thoughts wouldn't be sent to the other three before thinking that he would also have fun meeting all those women, and as such he showed he was a womanizer as well as an overly-caring 'older brother' figure.
Time passed on and on after this incident, Akera explaining his personality changes as he was switching places with his three brothers who looked just like him, and somehow managed to make the school buy it, keeping that information hidden from his parents until the part-time job Issui had signed him up for had earned him enough money to buy his own place.
Akera himself was now a permanent member of the Kendo team at his school, one of the top three, while Kanan switched between the track team and the tennis team throughout the entire year, and Issui had managed to become popular with nearly every single girl in the school, something that caused Akera trouble due to others being jealous and taking it out on him verbally. Raiu was the least changed, though he did develop a bad habit of using rooftops as a substitute for the ground, and before long Akera had little fear of falling off of buildings, being burned, drowning or even being shocked to death.
This lack of fear came from having been exposed to all of that by the three other personalities living in his body. Akera himself began to always carry a shinai or bokuto with him whenever he left the house, and managed to convince Kanan and Raiu to do the same, though he was unable to make Issui listen no matter what he said. Eventually, though, all good things had to come to an end, and Akera began to get involved in fights between people belonging to a group they called 'shadaloo' and people who worked for the Mishima Zaibatsu. The latter was a business that even Akera was aware of, having heard several things about it with the majority being bad rumours, and as such he learned of the power struggle between the two groups in a very roundabout manner, not knowing much about the situation other than this 'Shadaloo' wanted the Mishima Zaibatsu gone and the latter wasn't going to let that happen without a fight.
Sample Rp: It was a normal day in Tokyo, barely cloudy with a bright sun shining down on the city, and one specific person was making good use of the great weather, walking down the sidewalk with a girl on each arm. His red hair was darker than normal as they passed into the shadow being cast by a skyscraper, his eyes were a much lighter shade of violet than they normally were on other days, and his entire attitude was abnormal.
The name of this man was Akera. Tenrousei Akera. However, despite this fact, when asked what his name was, the man answered Issui for some reason, and after saying it he had looked past the questioner and had seemingly looked at empty air for no reason. In the space he had looked at, visible only to Issui, were three beings that looked similar to spirits, each one resembling Issui in their own way, and one of them shook his fist at the man as he walked off, the three beings floating after him.
"Tch, that stupid womanizer... I'm gonna kick his ass once one of you two switch out with him, I mean it...." one of the beings said, one dressed mostly in black with his hair styled to one side rather than straight down like Issui, "The great I, Kanan, will not stand for him dirtying my social standing by acting as a playboy!!"
"Oh shut up already, Kanan.... we all know you love being as popular as you are after Issui meets those girls, you can drop the' high and mighty I' act..." the second of the three spirits said, Raiu, and he yawned before going to lay down on one of the girl's head, falling asleep within seconds.
The third being remained quiet, hugging a bamboo sword to his chest and glaring at Issui with an annoyed look on his face, but after a few seconds passed he grabbed the hilt of the sword and hit Kanan on the back of his head, cutting him off in mid-rant about how better he was than Issui. "Will you stop already, Kanan-san? I'm annoyed at him too, but you know that if you two fight neither of you will win, you're almost complete opposites in every way." the man said, 'sitting' back down and floating along after Issui as if riding on a moving panel or something similar, and he ignored the angry shout of 'Akera' coming from Kanan, looking at what had happened to Issui in the time that they had been arguing.
"Oi, kid, why the heck're these two beautes hangin' out with a weak lookin' idjit like yous?" A man said, Issui motioning for the two girls to step back as two more men came out from behind the first, "Why dun' we have a little 'talk' real quick like, huh?"
Kanan stepped forward in the air and shook his fist at the men, spouting off random insults about 'lowly worms trying to start a fight with the great I,' while the third being, Akera, simply watched silently, even smirking slightly as a dangerous glint appeared in Issui's visible eye.
"Alright then, gentlemen.... wait for me here, ladies, I'll be back in a minute or so. Don't worry, I'll be fine, this is just a polite talk between men." Issui said, smiling and closing his visible eye, and he followed the three men into an alleyway nearby, walking past them and leading them to where no sound made would reach the girls out in front of the store. "Now then.... let's start, shall we?"
As he spoke, Issui turned around and faced the three men as they walked towards him, his eye opening and his smile widening, and the look on his face had changed greatly, going from a kind and friendly smile to a sadistically sick grin.
After a minute or two passed, Issui walked back out of the alleyway with nothing changed other than a black smudge on his cheek, and he wiped it off as the two girls ran up to him, Issui calming them down and walking them away from the alley before either of them looked down it. However, a passing police officer came up a few seconds after Issui left, and by then a groaning noise could be heard from the alley, the policeman hearing it and slowly walking down the dark alley. There he found the weirdest sight he had witnessed since he had joined the force; there were three men embedded in the concrete wall of a building, their jaws broken and their eyes rolled back into their skulls, but other than those three men, nothing was wrong in the alley.
Kanan, still following Issui as they shared the same body, was grinning and complimenting himself even more than usual, however Akera's face had gone from annoyed to disgusted, and as soon as the girls left Issui and the crimson-haired man walked back home, Akera vanished and a small being that resembled Issui greatly appeared where he had been. Akera was back in control, and he undressed and took a shower before going to bed for the day, ignoring the sound of Kanan and Issui fighting in his living room.
