Chi: the base foundation to most and many fighters power and prowess. It is a natural flow of life, yet simultaneously a tool that can be either used for total destruction or to bring forth the hand of salvation. Chi can be used in many ways among those who find themselves gifted and engrossed into its art and functionalities. It is broken off into four different usages. Support, Physical, Elemental Physical, and Projectile.
NOTE!!: Characters are permitted to have only TWO chi types, however you muse be at EMINENCE level and over to acquire a secondary type. Choose wisely young warriors.
Support Chi: Support Chi is commonly used as (hence its name) to support others in battle. Characters that specialize in Support chi usually are behind on the battlefield healing the injured, curing the sick, even hardening ones skin to endure extra amounts of damage. More advanced usages are composed of physical augmentations, such as speed enhancements/increments as well as overall physical strength. Support Chi is defensive only, so under no circumstances are characters allowed to have support chi abilities that act as offensive techniques. This chi type is incompatible with any other, it in and of itself stands alone except for elemental.
Physical Chi Physical Chi is fairly simple and possibly the easiest to comprehend among them all. A character with physical chi abilities tend to flux their chi flow through to the tips of their limbs just before making contact with an object literally driving said chi into the person (or object) causing not only external but internal damage as well. Characters of this prowess only tend to be able to send Chi to the very tip of ones knuckles, fingers, knees, elbows and even feet (or any limb that be used as a weapon).
Though maintaining bone and muscle shattering force this form of chi sustains, it takes a vast quantity to use. Being able to deliver match ending blows this type of chi takes up multitudinous amounts of Chi away from said user. It cannot be used repeatedly for even a simple four hit combination can leave the user fatigued and greatly vulnerable. Physical Chi attacks are chargeable meaning that once characters can responsibly control their chi flow they are able to gather it. The amount in which is gathers is solely up to the user itself, be it twenty percent, fifty, or even one hundred. Though the longer the gather the more difficult the attack will take to land.
A Zaibatsu foot soldier could easily cripple if not defeat even a lieutenant with a fully charged physical strike. (Full charge takes two of YOUR Post). There are many other usages to physical chi however it is the character and players job to find out.
Elemental Chi: Elemental Chi, having the same functions and potency as Physical chi however depending upon the person individuality it varies from different elements such as fire, water, wind, lightning, earth, even light and dark. How elemental chi and physical chi differ from one another is that Elemental chi’s charge time is reduce to a degree that it is nearly instantaneous however its attacks are far from lethal (depending upon chi level), in fact they act more as stun moves unless willingly charging it like Kazuya’s spinning lightning uppercut. Its only compatible with projectile and Physical chi. (Characters can only have one elemental chi type)
Elemental chi (unless combined with Projectiles) cannot be sent forth as a projectile.
Projectile: Projectile Chi, Chi attacks that can be fully manifested into a physical form and launched as……projectiles of course. It has no distinct color so it rest solely upon the users character. It like other forms of chi can be sent forth through short burst to stun or even charge for full power (I.E Ryu’s Metsu Hadoken). Projectile chi is only compatible with Elemental. Due to this it allows only highly skilled chi users (usually Eminence + Characters) to combine the two, for examble unleashing a Hadoken infused with that characters elemental chi. Ryu’s Elemental Chi is fire thus meaning his Hadoken’s can become literally a ‘bursting fireball’. Characters whose elemental chi would be lightning could have a chi ball, beam, or wave induced with lightning to give your opponent the ultimate shock. Remember these are examples so this is not EXACTLY how it is. (Sub elements do count, Metal, light, dark, ice, mist etc)
