The Devil Gene: The Devil Gene infusion is a process in which Jin Kazama began to use the blood of both himself and Heihachi to allow his members to gain access to this inhuman power. The cursed bloodline. The Mishima Bloodline carries a gene that makes them susceptible to being overcome by an entity that is often referred to as "Devil." The more active the Devil Gene becomes, the more the carriers lose themselves to it. When the Gene is at its most active, the carriers transform into monstrous variants of their usual selves. With the curse following the Mishima name throughout generations, Jin sought to rid himself of it however he wished for its blood to continue on. With this even during his absence the Devil Gene infusion has been made optional to those whose loyalty rest with the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Devil Gene Exclusive Abilities

Boushi Shuuha (Eye Wave):

During the recent years to pass those who are infused with the Devil Gene have developed passive abilities such as the eye wave. This ability is a thin narrow beam or wave of raw physical chi. Regardless of your chi type all Devil Gene characters will gain access to this ability if achieved or taught. Due to it narrowly compressed shape it is not a destructive wave, more so one that penetrates flesh like a raging spear, however its size and piercing capabilities will and may vary with the difference of ones Devil Gene strength its speeds would easily mimic the speeds of a 'bala' (for those of you who are familiar with bleach). Its color is generally a color of purple yet individuals have shown to use other colors depending upon the person itself.

High speed regeneration (Third Devil Stage Only):

Those who are fortunate enough to attain the inhuman power of the Devil Gene have shown to wield a passive ability of high speed regeneration(NOT instant). As the title of it follows their healing properties are doubled if not tripled as they are able to receive cuts and wounds that would certainly threaten the lives of even Mishima Zaibatsu’s Elite. However direct fatal strikes such as the lancinating of ones own heart would bring instant death to a fully released devil as it would an average human. Areas that are stricken that are without fatal organs or arteries will heal completely three of that characters respective post, NOT both.

Chi Absorption (First Stage Only):

As you know once the first stage of the Devil Gene is released their chi fluxes, having a darker tinge to it yet it is unstable and incomplete. Because of this the red diamond that resides within the middle of the forehead is able to absorb and imbibe the chi of others to strength their own in order to replenish the practitioners depleted chi. With a simple bite of their fangs they are able to absorb ONLY about ten percent of ones maximum power. This ability can only be used once per character. If the Devil Gene infused character is knocked unconscious or regress back into its human state then the stolen chi will return to its original host.

Devil Gene Cancellation

If a character (Devil Gene) is at his/her base form and engages into a fierce battle and sustains substantial amounts of damage they are able to begin the transformation process however exactly at the last second before it is complete the practitioner can cancel the transformation but more so compress it into their bodies forcing them back into their base form however this time fully recovered. But be warned during the transformation and the cancellation makes the user vulnerable and open to many high speed attacks and projectiles. Also this technique is used for dire situations and can only be used every other fight. Meaning the next fight prior to using this skill one would be unable to even transform into the first stage.

Devil Gene Nullification:

A character who has tapped into the third and final stage of their Devil Gene transformation, these prominent fighters are the only ones who uphold the skill and capabilities to withstand this process. However this god like transformation is nothing that is easily attainable. One over time must meditate extensively, strengthening the mind, the body, and the spirit, becomes one with the world itself. As one does this the purpose of their existence as well becomes apparent. Once a persons mind and body is prepared they are able permanently cancel their Devil Gene completely. In truth it is not exactly a ‘cancel’ more so purifying the dark chi the devil gene manifest causing it to become the practitioners own thus greatly augmenting their power.

Their chi flow becomes like a crashing yet gentle ocean, a level of chi that transcends all. Their strength and fighting prowess both easily are dwarfing even the strongest of Devil Gene and Psycho characters, A person who lays in perfect resonance within the spectrum of ‘power’.

Psycho Exclusive Abilities

Psycho Booster

Characters infused with M.Bison’s Psycho energy have the ability enshroud both hands and feet into Psycho energy, appearing to be that of a endless purple flame, a flame that grasp for the lives of those who oppose them. However the hands and feet are not limited, the energy is able to enshroud an entire arm or even the entire body but the drainage will of course be greater the more it spreads. This ability can be activated any times, its drainage varies depending upon the practitioners own endurance and chi development. The ability itself simply augments the characters blows with those limbs making the enshrouded psycho areas function, react, and move with twice the speed and power. This is the standard technique for those who are infused with Psycho energy.

Psycho Canon:

This technique is fairly simple, channeling a substantial amount of Psycho energy into their legs just before the take off from a jump then launches them into the direct of said jump at perilous speeds.

Psycho Resonance:

Psycho infused characters have the effective ability to locate and resonate with other psycho characters. Once they do they can see what that person sees, feel what that person feels, however the mind must be free from stress during this ability making this ability very dangerous to the practitioner if there are nearby enemies approaching. Also the user of said ability is deprived of their own sense since they are trying to tap into another, however if interrupted in any way abruptly can cause memory lose or even the lost of a physical sense can occur.
