Canon Fighting Styles

A martial art is an art of fighting that is limited to no one, therefore I have come up with the ‘Canon Fighting Style’ System'. Have you ever dreamed of having your character acquiring abilities and strengths of a canon character? Well, we have made such goals possible here at SFT. Custom characters are only permitted to learn ONE fighting styles of a canon. However, there are specific rules and guidelines that one must follow in order to learn and practice a canon fighting art. First it must be IN CHARACTER meaning all said canon's knowledge relative to their fighting style will have to be done through training threads with that Canon. Due to it being IC some canons (I.E Akuma, Kazuya, or Jin) will be more reluctant to train you than others due to their personality, moral values and goals.

Masters of any fighting art do not just train and teach any person that wishes to learn haphazardly, namely they find a person or selective group of fighters they see fit. This means that the Canon Characters personality isn’t the only factor to determine weather or not one is able to learn their art/style, it is the personality of the custom character as well. i.e. A character that fights for justice would be completely (but logically) unable to learn the fighting style of Kazuya or Akuma since their morals and intentions derive from malevolence and endless violence.

If a canon character and a custom character are compatible with one another and the player handling the canon allows it, only then will the training be made possible. One last thing, be careful how you use your custom characters chi types, for a certain combination's would prevent a character from learning a set of moves or attacks from that canon character's style.

Example: A person studying under Ryu Hoshi, his Chi composition would be Projectile + Elemental . Such a combination is the birth of his infamous Hadoken and Blazing Hadoken. A custom character with Projectile + Physical, or Elemental + Physical would be unable to either perform the Hadoken itself or the Blazing Hadoken.

Studying under Kazuya Mishima whilst having projectile chi would disrupt a large array if not most of his attacks hence he is Physical + Elemental, thus creating his physical lightning based attacks.
